Introduction

Bangladesh Islami University (BIU) has been recognized under the private university act 1992,as amended in 1998.This University is a contemporary ,full of life and ground-breaking academy which provides high-quality knowledge in every branch of education. The present main campus of the University is housed in an eleven storied building located at 89/12, R.K Mission Road ,Maniknagar ,Biswa Road,Dhaka -1203.The female campus is situated at 89/2/9-B, R.K Mission Road ,Maniknagar ,Biswa Road,Gopibagh ,Dhaka -1203 and the new campus is situated at 114,Maniknagar ,Biswa Road,Dhaka -1203.

The University ability firmly aims at disseminating holistic and up to date education through incorporated learning and state of the art preparation method. The ability strives to make professional with self self-confidence, flexible skills and ethical standard to meet the challenges of the up to date legal and commerce world and sow the seeds of financial, religious and educational expansion.

Operation

The mission of BIU is to import education to interweave the two educations streams-religious and modern in the light of Islam. The highest reality, Allah the enormous who wants holy consciousness gives freedom to human intellect and mind. There are four sources of knowledge that are used in put forward the basic concept of human being and his or her association with Allah and the rest of the life.

These sources are:

• Revelation
• Intelligence
• Reason and
• Sense

This attitude serves as the basis of set of courses scheming for BIU and helps to make it a “Centre of Excellence” by setting a new standard in communicate education in Bangladesh.
